We went to the beach again. Don’t hate me.
For the last decade or so, I’ve organized an annual Labor Day beach trip with college pals. In the early days, we used to cram 25 people into a house that slept 12. We’d stay up all night and sleep on the beach all day.
How times have changed.
Now we’re chasing kids all day and sleeping all night. Wouldn’t have it any other way, actually. Happy chaos, I like to call it.
My friend Ann took these photos with her fancy new Nikon DSLR, which I covet. I can’t get over the clarity and color of these images. Just beautiful!

labor day in mexico is in may so we just had an ordinary weekend. lots of time together though since hubs has been working 60 hours a week. we didn’t let him our of our sight all weekend! :)

Sounds like fun! Laura used to live in California, and I absolutely loved visiting. My favorite thing about the beaches there (Santa Monica area) were the guys peddling tortilla chips from gigantic trash bags. And the little kids would come up and squirt sauce on them. Best chips I ever ate!

We went home to SC for the weekend and saw family. Good times but also a little sad since it’s the last time I’ll see my dad before he moves to Costa Rica (where he’s from).
